  • There are very few communication and emergency access points on the network (see yellow points on trail map). In case of emergency, contact the S\u00fbret\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec directly at 310-4141 or dial 911;<\/li>\n
  • There is no drinking water on site;<\/li>\n
  • There are no patrols on the trails. You and your peers are responsible for your own safety at all times; <\/li>\n
  • There are many risks inherent in mountain biking, such as injuries, falls, heatstroke, allergies caused by flora and fauna, insect bites (ticks), animal encounters, etc..;<\/li>\n
  • Dogs are allowed on the trails as long as they are kept on a leash;<\/li>\n
  • Helmets must be worn when mountain biking;<\/li>\n
  • Do not practise the activity under the influence of drugs or alcohol;<\/li>\n
  • Our bike trails are not marked or maintained during the winter season;<\/li>\n

    Suggested equipment <\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    • A sturdy helmet designed for mountain biking;<\/li>\n
    • Comfortable sneakers with a grippy sole, like those used for running or training. They’ll grip the pedals, but also come in handy if you have to walk a section; <\/li>\n
    • Sport-appropriate clothing (shorts or bib shorts, T-shirt);<\/li>\n
    • Gloves and elbow\/knee protection. At your discretion, but recommended to protect you in the event of a fall; <\/li>\n
    • Sufficient drinking water: bicycle bottle or water bottle in backpack;<\/li>\n
    • Snacks;<\/li>\n
    • Lunch if you plan to spend the day (there is no service on the trails; picnic tables are located near the parking lot in the village);<\/li>\n
    • A first-aid kit;<\/li>\n
    • A small basic repair kit to fix a broken chain, flat tire, etc;<\/li>\n
    • Insect repellent (mainly suggested at the beginning of the season);<\/li>\n

      • We recommend that you pay your access fee before arriving to the site;<\/li>\n
      • Download the free Ondago application before leaving home. Cellular network coverage is rather poor in our area; <\/li>\n
      • Make sure your equipment is in good condition;<\/li>\n
      • Familiarize yourself with the map and its trails to identify their level of difficulty, length and communication points;<\/li>\n
      • Plan your activity in advance, taking into account sunshine hours and weather conditions;<\/li>\n

        By using Circuits Fronti\u00e8res’ mountain bike trails, you accept that you may be exposed to risks and situations that could result in damage to your property, injury or death. Mountain biking activities take place in a rugged natural environment far from medical services, which could result in long delays in the event of an emergency requiring evacuation, and consequently, a possible worsening of your condition or injury. Circuits Fronti\u00e8res assumes that you have read this code of conduct and therefore acknowledge that you have been informed of the risks inherent in the activities and that you are in a position to undertake the activity in full knowledge of the facts and accepting the risks. <\/strong> <\/p>\n

        Circuits Fronti\u00e8res also assumes that you agree to abide by the organization’s rules and regulations and to play an active role in managing these risks by adopting a preventive attitude toward yourself and others around you.
